Featuring a D2 steel blade, handle made of ergonomically shaped and textured G10 and steel, glass breaker, safety cutter and double locking system, The M195 is well outfitted and versatile in both everyday outdoor and rescue applications. The blade is forged of a premium D2 steel and finished with stonewash coating for high durability and excellent edge retention. The M195 comes supplied with a Nylon sheath with reflective stripe for convenient carrying.
D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel, is a knife-maker favorite and offers good edge retention and hardness, as well as being more corrosion resistant than other high-carbon steels. As to this knife, the D2 is intensively processed by RUIKE using quenching and cryogenic treatment, which features an ideal hardness of 60~61 HRC.
RUIKE knife handles are a blend of fiberglass and resin, giving the knives the ability to withstand intense forces, preventing scrapes and general abrasion.
Pushing the safety lock up can make the locking mechanism more reliable and secure in preventing accidental blade closure during use.
