Rescue Canada is proud to work with VodaSafe in bringing the AquaEye® to you! This advancement in water rescue and recovery technology is a game-changer, and we are excited to explore its application in your particular response protocols!
This is the first of its kind Search and Rescue product. AquaEye® by VodaSafe is an advanced underwater scanner that uses the latest in ultrasound and artificial intelligence technologies to identify human bodies underwater. This lightweight handheld underwater sonar device allows rescuers to quickly access a scene and identify potential victims within seconds. AquaEye® acts fast, using only one rescuer to operate and covers a greater search area in less time. It can identify object’s locations on the LCD screen 50 meters away from you. It is designed to survive in real-world conditions. It is robust, buoyant, waterproof, can withstand salt and sand, and is built to sustain impact. In waterfront rescue, every second counts, which is why AquaEye® is designed for any grab and go situation.
AquaEye® can be used while standing in water, swimming, from a dock, boat, rescue board or the back of a jet ski. It will remain fully charged while on it’s charging dock and once removed will last 8 hours of continuous scanning. If it is left on standby without being used for long periods of time, it is recommended to recharge once every 2-3 months.
